Review system
Historia Agraria acknowledges submissions upon receipt. The Editorial Board issues a preliminary editorial decision within six months.
Manuscripts passing initial screening are reviewed anonymously by two independent experts in a double-blind process.
Acceptance may depend on minor or major revisions. Detailed editorial reports are provided with deadlines for revision.
Authors must submit a revised version with a cover letter explaining the changes. The Editorial Board reviews the new version, possibly sending it back for further review.
The final version is evaluated by the assigned editor or co-editor, who informs the author(s) of the decision. Accepted articles proceed to production, appear in the “Upcoming Articles” section, and are later included in the corresponding issue based on approval order.
Commissioned articles and special issues (guest-edited) are also peer-reviewed and revised by the Editorial Board.
